Brigitte Macron v thrifty Kate Middleton: Did the Duchess wear THIS blue dress better?

Brigitte Macron is known as one of the most stylish women in the world but she’s taken on Kate Middleton in the style stakes with her most recent outfit.

The 64-year-old today is visiting the Ancient Agora in Athens, Greece , where her husband is on an official visit.

She was pictured arriving at the site in a short blue sleeveless dress showing off her tanned pins.

Wearing sunglasses, the French First Lady looked cool and collected visiting the ancient site.

But who wore the colour better? Royal fans will know that Kate wore a similar dress of the same colour at RAF Fairford in July last year.

The mother-of-two, who is pregnant with her third child, looked radiant as she carried Prince George in her arms for the official event last year.

Kate and William revealed the happy news they are expecting a third baby on Friday, much to the nation’s delight.

Maybe Brigitte was paying homage to Kate and her fashionable wardrobe choices when she stepped out in the outfit today?

It’s not the first time Brigitte has worn the revealing frock – she was last pictured in at the official Bastille Day parade in July 2015.

The thrifty First Lady smiled for a picture with Brigitte Taittinger-Jouyet at the event where her husband – French Economy minister at the time – Emmanuel was also in attendance.

Last night the French First Lady Brigitte Macron was pictured in a red dress as she attended a state dinner in Athens.

The scarlet-coloured frock fell to knee length and featured a high round neck and cape detailing.

A red and black clip belt helped cinch the dress in at the waist, accentuating the former school teacher’s figure.

Vanity Fair’s 2017 International Best-Dressed List was revealed this week.

Despite US First Lady Melania, 47, owning an enviable wardrobe, she did not make the cut this year.

But Barack and Michelle Obama made the list, and other politicians included Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte.
